DTR Screws
The stainless steel screw is used to keep the push rod from moving, This is used to manually set tension with no elastics ( see: Section 4 : Manual tension using the tension hold screw)   using Dual tension,
Nylon screws are used to hold elastics when using Dual tension tension method. They are not long enough to press against the push rod and are only used to hold elastics.

DTRs made before 8-1-2011 used these stainless steel screws. These were originally designed to prevent the user from over tightening the screw, The rubber would slip if tightened to much. I made the decision to re design the screw to the new nylon head. This head will not come off like the rubber head and will allow the user to be able to tighten the screw more.
